Leeds and Huddersfield trips televised

The kick-off times for Wednesday’s trips to Leeds United and Huddersfield Town have been brought forward to accomodate live coverage on Sky Sports.

The trips to Elland Road on Saturday 4 October and the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday 22 November will now kick off at 12.15pm rather than the originally scheduled 3pm.

This means Wednesday will now be televised three times before Christmas, with Nottingham Forest’s visit to Hillsborough on Saturday 30 August also brought forward to a lunchtime kick off.

Both meetings between Leeds United and Wednesday were televised last season, with the Owls drawing 1-1 at Elland Road before hammering the West Yorkshire side 6-0 at Hillsborough.

Good news for exiled fans, not such good news for the travelling hordes who like to frequent the local hostelries before matches! Send us your opinion on these changes to @Owlsalive on Twitter.
